Horizontal Separator Level Measurement

Horizontal separators are widely used in petroleum production and refining to separate crude oil, water, and gas from wellstream or process fluids. Effective separation depends on maintaining precise control of the emulsion layer, the interface between oil and water phases within the vessel. When emulsion layer control is lost, separator efficiency declines, demulsifier costs rise, and downstream dehydration and water treatment systems are directly affected.
